7 Travel Accessories From Amazon That Make Air Travel Easier

Planning a trip soon? Don’t leave home without these recommended travel accessories to make your life a million times easier. Here are some of my favorite finds that help keep me sane while traveling:

Unique Luggage Tags

If there is one single piece of advice that I can impart to the world, it would be to never ever buy a basic black suitcase. The more you travel, the likelihood of your suitcase getting lost or stolen increases, and as they say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure. I have my bright turquoise suitcase decked out in multicolored ribbons and luggage tags. It looks a bit messy for some, but I can spot my suitcase in a sea of luggage. My favorite new addition to my suitcase’s pieces of flare are the Casmonal Luggage Tags with their cute sayings and durability.

Inflatable Travel Neck Pillow

For longer airplane flights, I consider the Aircomfy Daydreamer Travel Pillow to be a lifesaver. There are so many versions of travel neck pillows on the market right now, but I have always preferred the space saving design of inflatable ones. What this one has that others lack, is push button inflation, which is so much better than huffing and puffing mid-flight trying to inflate your pillow while creeps stare at you. It’s lightweight and the removeable washable cover is very convenient.

Packing Cubes

I have recently discovered packing cubes, and to say that they were life changing, would not be an exaggeration. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t get them sooner. Some packing cubes, like the PREYRPK Premium Compression Packing Cubes, even offer space saving compression. It’s a nice perk, but I just appreciate having all my stuff organized and visible (I recommend getting see through ones like these, rather than opaque ones so you can see everything without digging). I used to turn my suitcase into a war zone just looking for a shirt, but now I can destroy a single packing cube in the same quest, saving me so much time and stress when I have to repack.

Travel Cable Organizer

I got fed up always starting off with a very organized suitcase, only to have it end up a total wreck halfway through my trip where I can’t find anything I need. I got this travel cable organizer by BELALIFE and it helped keep all my cables, chargers, and extra batteries organized! It’s so easy to maintain and just throw into your backpack or carry-on, and it’s very lightweight while remaining protective.

Travel Purse

If you’re like me, you are a “just-in-case” type of traveler. I need a purse to fit all my stuff—my camera, wallet, keys, phone, makeup, meds, water bottle, charger, earbuds, etc. I used to be stuck up about my handbags, always wanting a designer, high-quality leather bag.

With age, I discovered the easiest, and most stress free way to travel is with an affordable purse with as many compartments as humanly possible. That way when it gets rained on, spilt on, squashed, stained, and essentially destroyed, you won’t mind as much. I luckily found this one by Realer that was not only affordable and practical, but also extremely stylish! After my recent trip to Southeast Asia, it has become my favorite travel purse ever and stood the test of 3 insane weeks of being put through the ringer.

Air Tags

After Air Serbia not only lost my luggage for a couple of days, but failed to inform me when it did arrive at the airport, I decided it was time to invest in Apple Air Tags. I pop these bad boys inside my luggage and I can track their whereabouts with my iPhone. It gives me a piece of mind knowing where my luggage is, especially when it takes a while to come out on the baggage claim carousel.

Portable Power Bank

I never go on a trip or hike or even to work without my power bank. The TG90° Power Bank is perfect for my needs—it’s lightweight, compact, has built in cables for both iPhone and Android built in, and has enough juice for 1.5 full recharges. You might not always have access to an outlet, which is why I prefer my power bank over a charger. I accidentally forgot to pack my power bank once, and was tied to a cord at the airport wasting valuable time while I waited for a charge so that I could order an Uber.
